I used to consider myself a Mexican food snob. Having lived in Phoenix briefly in the late 90’s, I think I know Mexican food. Way back when, I grew up on Chi-Chi’s and the original Tumbleweed (before it became a chain and started to go wrong). Before I started eating better and healthier, I would have Mexican food at least twice a week. You name it, I ate it-at least once.

If you remember from my El Mundo review, I really enjoy Mexican food. Now I’m not sure how “authentic” these types of restaurants are – you know the ones with approximately the same menu – but man, they have some Good Eats, as my man Alton Brown would say.

Loading...I think at least one of my parents must secretly be from Mexico. I would eat this food every day of the week if I could. I mostly love that there are like 5-10 ingredients, but hundreds, nay, thousands of scrumptious possibilities.

I really hate to post a lukewarm review as my second post on this site, but as my favorite bumper sticker reads, “Pobody’s Nerfect”.
