Loading...This place has won so many awards, that I probably don’t even have to tell you how good it is. But I will: It’s good.
Harry and I stopped in for lunch last week because I remembered how cheap their personal pizzas are ($2.99 for cheese, toppings are additional.) They also have great Panino Sandwiches that aren’t as inexpensive, but worth every cent.

I had to stop at a client’s office near Frankfort Ave. today, and I wanted to grab a quick, yet delicious bite somewhere nearby. Fat Jimmy’s fit the bill perfectly, AND made this week ITALIAN WEEK! yay!

So, Luigi’s…man, oh man. Jam recommended this place for lunch, and I was more than willing to try it. He’s been there a couple times and raved about it.

After a battle of cabin fever from the snow, we were all excited to have a beautiful sunny day to explore a new lunch spot. After some discussion we decided to try Crave Café at 2250 Frankfort Avenue. We had high expectations for this small, but inviting café. I had The Guido, a grilled chicken & pesto sandwich on a ciabatta bread, a cup of chicken artichoke soup and a side of bleu cheese slaw. The sandwich was average, while the soup seemed to be lacking. I did however re-visit Kentucky Barbecue Company again (alone). That’s where I go when I’m feeling lonely around lunchtime (ha ha). My review still stands…excellent food and friendly service. There was quite a big crowd as well. Word’s getting out!
